For the 4th year in a row, J. Crew is collaborating with the winners and runners-up of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund to create capsule collections. The Coucil of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue Magazine have created a fashion fund to support emerging designers and, each year, a committee of industry experts chooses three winners who receive mentoring from fashion industry professionals as well as a money prize.
This year’s J.Crew collaborations are based on the theme « indigo » and include an eight-piece womenswear collection from Public School, evening wear by Juan Carlos Obando and jewellery by Marc Alary. Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborn, from Public School, will also receive $300,000 while the two runners-up each receive $100,000.
