When my hubby sent me this little video, I was flabbergasted… not only by its beauty, but also because I couldn’t believe I didn’t know about this stylish gathering created by Scott Schuman, aka The Sartorialist himself! How could I have missed it?
When it comes to street style (and fashion in general actually), there are two people I admire most of all: Bill Cunningham & Scott Schuman. The first because he’s the pioneer of street fashion and has seen & remembers it all in an encyclopedic way. The second, for the beauty of his images and his incredible eye. The Sartorialist also gives me my weekly dose of men fashion, which we may not get as much here as we would in, say, Milan…
But let’s get back to the lunch! A year and a half ago, Scott Schuman had the idea to bring together the men that grace the « pages » of his blog. So every season, during Pitti Uomo, he invites the 25 most stylish men on the planet to a lunch in Florence, at Trattoria Cammillo. Can you believe getting that invitation!
I’ve actually been to the iconic restaurant during a trip to Italy a few years ago.. Even though the evening with my honey was magical and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, amazing! I still would have given a lot(!) to see this uber stylish group come in!
