Every Thursday, we will share an iconic fashion throwback. Today, we’re travelling to 1991 with Madonna’s stunning editorial (and cover) for Vogue Italia. I chose these images because the queen of pop never looked more beautiful than with this Marilyn-inspired look, but also to appreciate Franca Sozzani’s amazing work! Sozzani was the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia for 28 years before passing away on December 22th 2016.
