I don’t know if I ever mentioned it, but I’ve lived in Little Burgundy for the past 25 years… and although the neighbourhood hasn’t always been as hip as it is right now, I never wanted to live anywhere else! LB started to really change around 2005, and a few years ago restaurants, cafes and boutiques started opening all over Notre-Dame street. Joe Beef, Liverpool House, Gepetto, Burgundy Lion, Cafe Lili & Oli, Itsi Bitsi, have all become places I love to visit over and over! Even though I love shopping at ERA Vintage Wear and Salvation Army (a little more to the east on Notre-Dame), I was longing for some new and cool fashion boutiques!
With the opening of Boutique StockMarkt, we can say my prayers have been answered! Not only is the space beautiful, but the concept is pretty great! StockMarkt is actually an outlet offering brands like Filippa K, Nudie Jeans, Maison Kitsune, James Perse, WANT Les Essentiels de la vie, ACNE Studios and more… So we can say the selection, both for men & women, is pretty amazing!

Of course, I fell in love with… the most amazing pair of shoes, and had to get them! And I think it was a good buy because I wore them the same night for the launch of Guerlain’s new fragrance (check out my whole look for the event right here)!
This was really an unexpected splurge, but how often can you find unique ACNE shoes at 60% off?
