MMVA15-best

The MTV Movie Awards are one of the most fun award shows of the season… and it usually translates on the red (blue) carpet! So I decided to add it to my coverage! Here are my Best and Worst Dressed…

BEST DRESSED

1- Holland Roden in Caterina Gatta

If you saw my look of the day, you probably know that the beautiful Holland Roden was my favourite look of the night. I love the digitalized effect of the print that brings a modern spin to this season’s flower print trend. I’m also completely smitten by the silhouette of the dress and the choice of the pastel Jerome C. Rousseau pumps! Oh yeah… and thumbs up for choosing a designer (Caterina Gatta) that is barely known and making her shine this way!

2- Cara Delevingne in Reem Acra

Cara looked way more polished than usual, but I loved it! I especially appreciated the embroidered panel that showcased her silhouette in a beautiful way. I wish she would’ve worn just a touch more makeup though…

3- Brittany Snow in Brandon Sun

No need to tell you that I love the bright colour-blocking and the length of the dress! Plus, the makeup is perfect!

WORST DRESSED

1- Hailee Steinfeld in Rodarte

OMG, I don’t know where to start… The green blouse with the (very) apparent bra is awful, the shoes are ugly and that mesh skirt is already giving me nightmares. Talk about edgy gone wrong!

2- Bai Ling

I’m sure some of you are surprised that this Game of Thrones inspired look wasn’t my worst look of the night… but here, we can assume that Bai Ling knows she’s wearing a costume and doesn’t take herself seriously. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same about Hailee.

3- Scarlett Johansson in Zuhair Murad

I’m a HUGE fan of jumpsuits so I should love this, right? Well, no… What I love about jumpsuits is their modernity and here both the embroidery on the neckline + the waist are tacky. And can I say how much I hate the clutch and the 80’s pastel sandals? They would be perfect for a kid’s princess outfit, but not ScarJo!

Do you agree with my choices? Did I miss anyone?
