We told you all about our best (and worst) dressed at the Oscars HERE, let’s now take a moment to acknowledge the most beautiful beauty looks of the evening.

HAIR

Emma Roberts
When Emma Roberts dyed her hair red earlier this month, I remember saying I preferred her blonde hair. After seeing her Oscars look, I changed my mind. I loved the bright red colour styled in a Old Hollywood glamour way. Paired with red lipstick and stunning drop earrings, she was ma favourite beauty look of the evening!

Hair : Nikki Lee | Makeup : Charlotte Tilbury

Sofia Carson
Sofia Carson’s hairstylist took her updo to another level by including a beautiful Monique Lhuillier hair brooch. The intricate slicked back bun, side parting and diamond incrusted hair piece made her look like a modern princess.

Hair : Caile Noble | Makeup : Patrick Ta

Jessica Biel
What I love about Jessica Biel’s look is how her hairstylist added an original touch to a classic glamourous look. From the front, it looked like a simple updo. From the back, however, it transformed into an intricate loop inspired by Geisha hairstyles. Love it!

Hair : Adir Abergel | Makeup : Kara Yoshimoto Bua

Makeup

Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee was one of our best dressed, not only because her dress was stunning, but also because her beauty look was just as beautiful. The bronzed complexion paired with pink, almost nude, lips and dramatic eye makeup was a perfect contrast to the magical Ralph & Russo dress. Oh, and her hair was perfect too!

Hair : Chris Appleton | Makeup : Mary Phillips

Janelle Monae
Janelle Monae could easily have been both in our hair and makeup favourites. Her short hair embellished with a delicate gold headband made her look like a Greek goddess. With the golden accents in her makeup, the actress was glowing. The colours were perfect for her complexion and I feel like the products were used more to enhance her natural beauty than to cover her face. Gorgeous!

Hair : Nikkie Nelms | Makeup : Jessica P. Smalls

Emma Stone
I’m sure Emma Stone is as amazingly gorgeous in her pyjamas wearing no makeup, but we still have to acknowledge her makeup artist’s great work! She was inspired by the 30s and 40s Old Hollywood glamour, but also by the 19th Century painter Gabriel Rossetti. The result is another knock-out red carpet beauty look!

Hair : Mara Roszak | Makeup : Rachel Goodwin
