If you follow me on social media, you know that I was in Toronto for the CAFA Awards and that I was pretty impressed by the red carpet. Here are my 20 favourite looks of the night (I know, it’s more than my usual Top 10’s, but the looks were really great)!

IRIS APFEL

I can’t start with anybody else than Iris! As I’ve often said, she’s my ultimate style inspiration because she represents what being true to yourself means. Once again, she looked amazing from head to toe! I especially love the jewellery… of course!

JENNA BITOVE IN MIKAEL D & RITA TESOLIN

When I saw Jenna Bitove, I immediately thought about J-LO! The curves, the embroideries, the transparency, the integrated cape… and those oversized earrings!!! Just stunning.

JESSICA MULRONEY IN CHRIS GELINAS

Statement earrings were definitely having a moment at the CAFA’s! I also loved the ones Jessica Mulroney wore, especially with the pulled-back hair and stunning makeup! Her Chris Gelinas feathered dress was as beautiful!

ELSA REIA IN UNTTLD

Elsa Reia was another of my favourites of the night. I love the understated drama of this black & white dress by Montreal duo UNTTLD. The endless sleeves are to die for!

SUZANNE & CHLOE ROGERS IN ERDEM

Suzanne & Chloe Rogers both wore stunning embroidered dresses by International Designer of the Year winner, ERDEM. Let me also add that I have a crush on Mrs. Rogers earrings and Chloe’s silver platform sandals!

EMM ARRUDA IN LUCIAN MATIS

It was a big night for the young model, who won the Sephora Fresh Face of the Year award… and she chose the perfect dress to live this moment! I especially love the voluminous train!

SAM & CAILLI BECKERMAN IN MIKHAEL KALE

Talking about the big winners of the night… I loved Beckerman twins’ Mikael Kale custom-made dresses! Sexy & badass, just like them! Congrats girls, I’m so happy you won!

VICKY MILNER IN UNTTLD

The president of the CAFA looked absolutely beautiful in this tuxedo-inspired asymmetrical dress by UNTTLD. No need to say that the earrings are pretty fab too!

CARY TAUBEN IN WAXMAN

Stylist Cary Tauben is always someone I’m excited to see because I know he will bring it… and I wasn’t disappointed! His classic Waxman tuxedo worn with a statement ring and graphic platforms, were just perfect!

JEANNE BEKER (with partner Iain) IN WAYNE CLARK, JOEFFER CAOC & GAREMA

As always, Jeanne Beker looked radiant and so elegant on the red carpet. Love the dress and the stunning round clutch by Marema!

SOPHIE TOUCHET IN GRETA CONSTANTINE

How can we not fall in love with this beautiful ruffled red dress by Greta Constantine!

ODESSA PALOMA PARKER IN PHILIP SPARKS, KORMA JEWELLERY & JOHN FLUEVOG

I’m a big fan of the Globe & Mail Fashion Editor’s colourful style… and I thought she wore the perfect dress to showcase it!

SARAH RAFFERTY IN GRETA CONSTANTINE

Suits actress, Sarah Rafferty’s purple ruffled dress really looked beautiful against her porcelain skin and red hair. Love it!

JAY STRUT WEARING HOUSE OF NONIE & UNCUFFED LEATHER

A tuxedo coat, leather harness and thigh-high socks… yup that’s Jay Strut, and it looked fabulous!

COCO ROCHA IN MIKAEL KALE

That’s how you do edgy on the red carpet! This Mikhael Kale cut-out number couldn’t have looked this good on anybody else than Coco!

ZAKARIAH MILANA AKA THE FERAL IN HIS OWN CREATION

The Feral designer Zakariah Milana really has a style of his own… and it looked pretty amazing on the red carpet!

CHLOE WILDE IN HILLARY MACMILLAN & JENNY BIRD

Love the pretty colour and soft ruffles of this both modern and romantic dress by Hillary MacMillan!

IMRAN AMED

Guys, this is what your tuxedo should look like! Happy to end this post with BOF’s CEO and founder, whom I was so delighted to meet & hear talk about his passion for fashion. So inspiring!
