Another day, another award ceremony! This time, it was the Oscars of fashion… the CFDA Fashion Awards, so we could expect a lot of interesting looks. Here are my favourite, and not so favourite of the night!

BEST DRESSED

1. Erin Heatherton in Michael Kors

It’s simple, but I love it… the dreamy colour, the greek goddess silhouette and that beautiful integrated gold necklace!

2. Crystal Renn in Zac Posen

Oriental luxurious prints and fabrics are coming back in a big way and Crystal Renn wears the trend perfectly! And how beautiful are the shoes?

3. Devon Aoki in Alice & Olivia

The print + the ruffles + the peplum: everything about this dress is beautiful!

4. Jessica Stam in Jason Wu

How pretty is the mix of sheer electric blue and black lace?

5. Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung

Another simple gown that stands out for its silhouette, accentuated by the sheer cut-out panels.

And I have to give a special mention to the adorable Lily Collins in Marchesa

BEST JEWELRY

Elettra Wiedemann in Lulu Frost

BEST SHOES: Solange Knowles’s Missoni sandals

WORST DRESSED

1. Michelle Harper in Christian Cota

Wow! Sorry, but I’m at a loss for words!

2. Brad Goreski in Kate Spade

I’m usually all for guys wearing prints… but this Japanese-inspired design is just awful! He should have worn only the jacket with a black pant.

3. Heather Graham in Nicole Miller

Does anyone else thinks this looks like a night gown?

4. Pharell Williams

Pharell, you’re very cool, but a tuxedo is not meant to be worn with bermudas!

5. Rachel Zoe

Again, Rachel Zoe went for a dress 3 sizes too big. I wonder who’s her stylist…

BIGGEST TRENDS

You know me, I love to compile trends for you… here are the biggest ones of the night

1. Bright citrus

Anna Wintour in Marc jacobs/Solange Knowles in Marni/Karen Elson in Proenza Schouler/Sophia Bush in David Meister

2. Oriental opulence

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff in Zac Posen/Dakota Fanning in Proenza Schouler/Kate Bosworth in Altuzarra

3. Black, but not boring

Padma Lakshmi in Naeem Khan/Busy Phillips in Martin Margiela/Mary Kate Olsen in The Row

4. Goddess inspired

Selita Ebanks in Herve Leger by Max Azria/Mandy Moore in Lela Rose/Joan Smalls in Michael Kors

So, what do you think of my round up? And who are your favourites? Let me know!
