I don’t know if I ever shared this with you, but Laetitia Casta is my favourite model of all time… and probably the most beautiful woman in the world (with Kate Winslet, of course), so I was thrilled when I learned that Dolce & Gabbana had chosen her to be the face of their latest Pour Femme perfume! Even though she’s French, Laetitia perfectly embodies the sensuality of the Italian woman in this campaign ad shot by Mario Testino.
She poses alongside the gorgeous Noah Mills, another non-Italian model (he’s from Canada!), who is the face of D&G’s men perfume. Here’s the official shot, just for our pleasure…
You also absolutely have to check out the black & white video shot in in Sicily, in the beautiful baroque village of Erice and the beach of La Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro… so dreamy!
But let’s get back to the actual perfume, who turns 20 this year! Fruity and floral, the scent is essentially composed of raspberry, green mandarine, jasmine and orange-blossom. We also find marshmallows, vanilla and santalwood in the base notes of the fragrance. The olfactive result is simply irresistible… Even the velvet burgundy packaging is perfect for this season!
According to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the perfume is made for “a woman aware of her own beauty that loves to take risks and knows how to get what she wants with her delicate sensuality”… I don’t know about you, but this sound really good to me!
Don’t hesitate to let me know your thoughts on the campaign!
