Here we go… The award season has officially begun!

In the next few weeks, you will find my Best & Worst Dressed list for every major award ceremony right here! So, to really have fun with this, I’d like to invite you to vote for your best dressed in each of these posts.

Let’s start right away with my Best Dressed choices for last night’s People’s Choice Awards.

1. Vanessa Hudgens in Jenny Packham.

I love everything about this look, the train, the gold spiderweb effect and especially, the very sexy double-halter neckline. The choice of shoes and clutch are also perfect.

2. Ginnifer Goodwin in Roksanda Ilincic.

Bravo to Ginnifer Goodwin for choosing this out-of-the-ordinary dress. I love the bell sleeves and, of course, the colour! I have to say I’m not crazy about the shoes though…

3. Miley Cyrus in David Koma.

Miley Cyrus has gone a long way since her Hannah Montana days… I love the (controlled) plunging neckline and the flowy panels at the front. Plus the shoes are really cool!

4. Ashley Greene in DKNY.

As DKNY’s new face, Ashley Greene gets some pretty good perks… like this custom-made lace and leather dress with a pretty ruffled hem. Love it!

5. Lea Michele in Marchesa.

Ok, I really hate the lipstick and tacky earrings, but the dress is sooo beautiful that it deserves a spot in the best-dressed list. Doesn’t it make you think of Denis Gagnon’s fringed dresses?

6. Jennifer Lawrence in Victor & Rolf.

Since her appearance in that fuchsia Oscar de la Renta dress at the 2011 SAG Awards, I’ve been really enjoying Jennifer Lawrence’s red carpet style. Once again, I love her choice of this daring graphic Victor & Rolf dress.

Of course, this wouldn’t be as fun without a couple of bad fashion choices… Here are my worst dressed of the night.

1. Kristen Bell in Valentino.

I didn’t think it was possible to make a Valentino dress look bad, but Kristen Bell has just proved me wrong! And what’s with the hair??

2. Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab.

Unfortunately for her (and Elie Saab), The Vampire Diaries actress has the ability to make some quite expensive dresses look quite cheap…

3. Demi Lovato in Marchesa.

I’m not saying the coral curve-hugging dress is ugly or that it fits her poorly, but it’s too much for the People’s Choice Awards and definitely not age-appropriate!

4. Kelly Osbourne in Honor.

As a panelist for E! Online‘s Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne should be more careful with her fashion picks… And can somebody tell me what colour is her hair?

5. Lucy Hall in Cengiz Abazoglu.

Again, not an ugly dress (I actually like it), but it doesn’t work for her. It’s a bit too edgy and the side panel should’ve been hemmed!

So, what do you think? I can’t wait to tally your votes!

And I invite you to follow me on Twitter (@LolittaDandoy) for a live coverage of the Golden Globes’ red carpet, as of 7pm on Sunday, January 15th. Don’t miss it!
