Last night, I watched the Oscars with a few of my journalists/bloggers/stylists friends : Anne-Lovely Etienne, Gérardine Jeune and Soulyne Michel. Soulyne is a men’s stylist that also writes the blog You can follow her there to read all about men grooming, fashion and lifestyle… but in the meantime, she agreed to share her best and worst dressed fellaz at the Oscars for Fashion Is Everywhere!

1- Chadwick Boseman in Givenchy Couture

Chadwick Boseman wore a breathtaking Givenchy Couture suit that featured a beautiful silver embroidered coat and slim pants. We also HAVE to mention the badass Chelsea boots with the exposed zip!

2- Armie Hammer in Armani

We loooove that Armie hammer stayed away from the dark blue or black suit and dared to wear this burgundy velvet stunner… that didn’t feel old-school at all!

3- Ansel Elgort

From rich burgundy, we go to luxurious deep green thanks to Ansel Elgort, who seemed to have the most fun on the red carpet! we especially love the satin lapel that really set him apart!

Timothee Chalamet in Berluti

I love Soulyne’s 3 choices, as they were all part of my favourites of the night, but I have to add Timothee Chalamet… who looked amazing in this Berluti ivory tuxedo. Everything fits perfectly and I love that he completed the look with a white shirt and bow tie + perfect black booties!

1- Darrell Britt-Gibson

Even though we like the idea of a pink tuxedo jacket, Darrell Britt-Gibson’s red carpet choice didn’t exactly work to his advantage… the shoes look too big, and they make the cropped pants feel even shorter!

2- Adam Rippon in Moschino

Adam Rippon’s eccentric black tuxedo could have been a winner… if it wasn’t for the cut-out shoulders. We also love the idea of a harness, but it unfortunately competes with the shiny bow-tie. Lastly, we wish he would’ve worn socks…

3- Daniel Kaluuya in Brunello Cucinelli

Daniel Kaluuya is wearing a Brunello Cucinelli suit that could’ve been lovely. However, the golden-brown jacket is not a flattering shade for his complexion. And the pants are ill-fitting!
