They’re certainly not the biggest shows of the season, but still… this week-end was pretty busy in terms of award ceremonies. And that means interesting fashion for our blog! Since I’m featuring two different events, I will only focus on the evenings’ best looks and leave the worse aside this time (don’t worry, I’ll get them next time).  Let’s start by yesterday’s ceremony…

The Academy Of Country Music Awards

1- Taylor Swift in J Mendel

I’m usually no big fan of Taylor Swift’s style, but I have to admit that this J Mendel gown with gold detailing is beautiful. I especially love the square neckline and the cut-outs at the waist!

2- LeAnn Rimes in Stella McCartney

Whoa, LeAnn Rimes has an amazing body… and that’s exactly what you need if you wanna wear this intricate number from Stella McCartney‘s spring 2012 collection . I’m not sure about the shoes, but the fit of the dress is just perfect on her!

3- Laura Bell Bundy in Jean Fares Couture

I’m not going to lie, I had no idea who was Laura Bell Bundy before tonight, but I have to hand it to her, this asymmetrical silver sequinned gown by Jean Fares Couture is stunning!

4- Nicole Kidman in L’Wren Scott

The actress always plays it a little too safe with her L’Wren Scott dresses (she wears them all the time!). But for this occasion, I have to admit I like the simplicity of the dress… particularly the sheer neckline and that cute collar!

5- Jennifer Nettles in custom Max Azria

Sugarland‘s singer Jennifer Nettles gave a splash of colour to the red carpet with this pretty coral chiffon and lace dress by Max Azria. I love how delicate the dress feels and that yellow belt.

The night before, it was a whole other (and more laid back) ambiance at the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards. Here are the looks that stood out…

1. Heidi Klum in Roland Mouret

I’m not exactly sure why, but Heidi Klum is always present at the Kids’ Choice Awards… Anyways, she really looked amazing in this beige long-sleeve dress that she wore with AMAZING grey thigh-high boots, all by Roland Mouret. Love it!

2- Ariel Winter in Cynthia Rowley

It’s not easy to dress for red carpets (orange carpet in this case) when you are so young, but Modern Family‘s star Ariel Winter does a very good job with this adorable white Cynthia Rowley dress. I absolutely love the flowy skirt but the shoes are really too heavy for it…

3- Emma Stone in Antonio Berardi

Once again, I’m not crazy about the shoes… But I really like the almost nude colour of this Antonio Berardi ensemble and the interesting pleating of the skirt.

4- Sarah Hyland in Myne

Ariel Winter’s Modern Family co-star, Sarah Hyland, also stood out on the orange carpet with this red wrap dress by Myne, showcasing just the right amount of leg.

5- Kristen Stewart in Stella McCartney

The Twilight star looked very pretty and feminine in this electric blue lace dress by Stella McCartney. I love that she chose perfectly co-ordinated pumps by Barbara Bui.

And I have to add a very special mention to Jaden Smith, whose studded bicolored leather jacket with one leopard printed sleeve, was just too cool (just like his Zoolander face… nooot)!

There you go… Do you have any favourites? Let me know!
