During the Cannes Film Festival, my favourite event has to be the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala, that brings out some pretty interesting fashion… And since Carine Roitfeld was directing this year’s fashion show, I was even more excited to see the red carpet looks! Here are my Best & Worst dressed of the night… (To see all the trends of the night go here!)

BEST DRESSED

1. Milla Jovovich in Atelier Versace

When Milla does it right, she can be very hard to beat… I LOVE this structured silver & gold gown that makes her look like a space goddess!

2. Elodie Bouchez in Chanel Couture

How pretty is this midnight blue Chanel number? I especially like the lovely tulle on the shoulders and bottom of the skirt!

3. Doutzen Kroes in Atelier Versace

Versace is having an amazing Cannes Festival! We’ve seen the brand on Freida Pinto, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Milla Jovovich… and supermodel Doutzen Kroes was also wearing it last night. As I did on Milla, I love the sculptural silhouette, and that back!

4. Kate Upton in Louis Vuitton

I was very surprised to see Kate Upton wearing this puffed-up Marie-Antoinette inspired dress, but I have to admit she rocked it. One of my favourites!

5. Berenice Bejo in Giambattista Valli

After wearing that disastrous custom Prada dress a few days ago, Berenice Bejo was back with this Giambattista Valli printed dress. I love everything about this gown: the train, the high-waisted belt and that lovely cape effect!

WORST DRESSED

1. Janet Jackson in Emilio Pucci

Wow, where should I start? Maybe by telling her that those gagaesque shoes absolutely don’t work with the dress! Talking about the dress… boob cut-out + turtleneck halter + high slit = DISASTER!

2. Sky Ferreira

I’m not saying I don’t like the look, but a long sleeve leather dress with matching boots for a gala? During summer? In the south of France? C’mon! And is it me or does she look like she got into a fight before hitting the red carpet…

3.Tara Reid

I honestly don’t remember ever seeing Tara Reid wearing something pretty… or age appropriate. And today is not the day things will change!

4. Tamara Ecclestone

« It costs a lot of money to look this cheap ». I don’t know why, but I’m sure this quote applies perfectly to this look.

5. Victoria Silvstedt

I have to be honest, when I look only at the dress, I don’t think this is worst dressed material… but on that hair, make-up and tan, it just looks sleazy.

So what do you think of my choices… Who was your favourite? Who was your worst?
