I always start my red carpet round-ups with the best outfits of the night, but I can’t do it today… the looks at the Grammys last night were simply too horrible! Ok, (sigh) let’s do this!

WORST LOOKS

1- Joy Villa

Did someone actually design this or did she just throw a few meters of the plastic fence we find on construction sites? Orange is NOT the new black!

2- Jane Fonda in Balmain

I don’t care everyone thinks Balmain is so cool, this green jumpsuit is plain awful… Jane Fonda, please go back to the glamourous gowns!

3- Rihanna in Giambattista Valli Couture

Note to Rihanna: dressing as a pink wedding cake is never a good idea. I’m having an indigestion just looking at it!

4- Taylor Swift in Elie Saab

The colour, the short skirt vs the huge ball skirt, the weird cutouts… I cannot believe Elie Saab designed this! And the tanned legs + purple shoes are not helping at all!

5- Madonna in Givenchy

This would have been perfect for a Spain-inspired burlesque Halloween party… but not the biggest night in music!

and there’s more…

Hate this white tuxedo (and the fur stole) on Charli XCX

Ariana Grande was on a few best dressed lists, but I really don’t agree! Does anyone else think that both the dress and the shoes are TOO BIG for her? She looks like a little girl wearing her mother’s clothes.

Unfortunately, it’s not over…

Worst trends: Boob overdose

I’ve always loved a great plunging neckline, but this is getting out of control!

Worst trends: weird cutouts

I get it, cutouts are cool… but you can’t just place them anywhere!

Worst trends: glitters

I usually love glitters and sequins but not when they look this cheap (or like Christmas icicles).

BEST LOOKS

1- Jessie J in Ralph & Russo Couture

Wow! This is how you should do transparency!

2- Danielle Haim

I unfortunately couldn’t find who dressed Danielle Haim (middle) but that ivory pantsuit is da bomb!

3- Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier Couture

I wish she had worn delicate sandals instead of pumps, but this evanescent Alexandre Vauthier dress is beautiful enough to make me forget about the shoes!

4- Katharine Mcphee in Emilio Pucci

I love everything about this dress: the colour, the silhouette and the cutouts. Plus, the barely-there makeup is perfect!

5-Gwen Stefani in Atelier Versace

Once again, Gwen Stefani was the coolest chick in the room! How amazing is that architectural bustier?

Special mention to… Maddie Ziegler et Sia

Once you look past the crazy wigs, Sia & Maddie’s B&W masculine inspired looks made them the coolest duo of the Grammys!

Statement of the night/Best hair

Talking about wigs… they were definitely the biggest statement of the night. Go short hair!

Best makeup

When it comes down to makeup. Katy Perry, Beyonce and Rita Ora (again) had everything right!

Best accessory

How cute is that fish clutch (and the dress looks great too)?

Grammys2015-bestaccessory-kellyosbourne

Best tux

Props to Anna Kendrick for beating all the guys in the tux department!

Am I being too harsh or was this really one of the worst award ceremony in terms of fashion?
