Last week I was invited to meet Hayden Christensen and be among the first people to discover his capsule collection for RW&Co in Toronto… Difficult to say no! Not only was this going to be great content for FashionIsEverywhere but I also had the opportunity to interview the actor for FashioNation.tv, a brand new fashion web portal I just started to work with!
I’m really excited about this collaboration because I feel this type of content has been missing since Fashion Television was cancelled. David Greener, who is behind this whole project actually worked with Jeanne Beker for many years… so I really feel privileged to be reporting for FashioNation.tv. Here’s my 1st interview…
I can’t lie, I’m often disappointed about celebrity fashion collaborations and sometimes, even when I like the samples, the actual production can be totally different. But in this case, I have to say that the collection looks good and fits great.
As Hayden mentions in the interview, he wanted clothes that were made for Canadian men and their reality, that could transition easily form casual to dressed up… and that’s exactly what he offers!
A wardrobe of about 20 pieces that will cater to the trendy hipster, the regular guy who just wants easy pieces that look cool… or the woman who likes to borrow her boyfriend’s clothes! Yup, I can confirm that Hayden Christensen x RW&Co also looks good on girls, and here’s the proof!
When I tried on the mustard drop-crotch pants (my favourite piece in the collection), Hayden actually came to check it out and was pretty happy to see a girl wearing his clothes. Who knew we had the same taste in fashion?
The Hayden Christensen x RW&Co collection will be available in stores as of November 7th, but you can skip the line and buy it online!
Happy shopping!
